Children are our future and our pride. Every child is talented by nature. Our goal is to reveal the talent and create favourable conditions for its development. This is the central purpose of the IFM "Expectations of Europe" and its president Anatoly Akinshin.
What is "Expectations of Europe"? It is a cheerful, stirring holiday, it is joy and happiness in children’s eyes, it is sparkling energy of good by which spectators and participants are inspired for a long time.
Only in the IFM "Expectations of Europe" there is an international children's jury which impartially estimates participants’ performances.
The chairperson of the Children’s Jury is Sabina Kuzina (Russia), the title holder “Miss Mediterraneo-2009” (an European beauty contest, Palma de Mallorca, Spain).
The International Festival Movement includes a lot of festivals which take place annually in various cities and countries of the European continent. These days when, to our greatest regret, some nations openly oppose others, the Festival Movement “Expectations of Europe“ shows unique heritage of national cultures, friendship between the peoples and invaluable sharing of experience to the world. All this is of very important educational value, because children which participate in festivals now can influence a social and cultural life after a few years.
In the IFM "Expectations of Europe" the International Children's Political Association is created. Its activity involves realisation of socio-directed acts and acts of charity in Russia and abroad.
The chairperson of the Association is Natalia Fironova (Russia), the holder of many titles and prizes of national and European contests.
In 2009 alone she successfully took part in events organized in Spain and Italy, and also in the festivals "Expectations of Europe" 2009 and "Open Russia".
Who are participants of the IFM "Expectations of Europe"?
Children, teenagers and youth, from seven to twenty two years old, can be participants of the "Expectations of Europe" contest. Every year new nominations are added. In the festival Center we speak: "There is a place for everyone on our scene. The strong one shows, the weak one learns". Indeed, we direct much energies to training: master-classes, training programs, "round tables" both for children and for teachers. There are cultural, sports and health programs besides the competitive program.
The Festival Movement accustoms children to culture, healthy life-style, promotes revealing of talents and development of the personality, brings up to respect cultural traditions of neighbour European peoples.
